Job Description
This position is responsible for developing sales solutions, closing orders and successfully completing customer projects in a manner that meets the customer?s objectives of performance and schedule as well a Bosch Packaging?s objectives of profitability.
+ Work with the agent (s) and sales defining the customer?s project requirements and offering a proposal that meets their needs.
+ Develop a clear understanding of the project objectives, including overall schedule (Gantt chart) and cost requirements.
+ Retain the overall responsibility for the project up to project management handoff.
+ Communicate the project objectives, timetable, margin calculation and budget to appropriate departments.
+ Schedule and lead concept reviews, order kickoff meetings, engineering reviews, and assign to team members as needed.
+ Motivate and challenge appropriate departments to ensure deadlines are met.
+ Maintain a complete record on the project history, including any changes in design concept, project scope, etc and related cost impact. Review al potential cost increases with the product manager, project management and/or customer before implementation
+ Work with project management to track project status on a continuous basis concerning money, schedule, and any application/technical issues. Communicates progress as needed to customers and at regular intervals to Bosch management.
+ Serve as the primary source for any customer interaction, design/project review, questions, concerns and changes.
+ Responsible for customer visits and travel as needed to customer site. Approximately 20% travel. (domestic and international)
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree.
+ 3+ years of experience in packaging applications.
+ 2+ years of experience with sales/customer interactions.
+ 2+ years of experience creating solutions and preparing proposals.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Engineering degree discipline. (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, etc.)
+ Knowledge of HFFS, VFFS, Robotics, and Secondary packaging equipment.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner with customer and other functions and foster teamwork.
+ Must be self-motivated having the ability to work in a team environment.
+ Strong negotiation skills.
+ Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while accepting changing priorities and deadlines.
+ Ability lead in problem solving activities, pro-actively suggest improvements, and meet required deadlines.
+ PC Knowledge and SAP experience to create proposals.
+ Microsoft Office skills to create margin calculations, timelines, conduct QGA?s and generate reports.
+ Have a professional aptitude and ability to represent Company in a professional manner.
+ Good understanding of sales, engineering, and business process.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
