Job Description
This role will be responsible for maintaining and developing a competitive product portfolio consistent with the strategic objectives of the company while assuring innovation and time to market according to the company?s roadmap. Also responsible for supervising all research, development and engineering activities of the company, including hardware, software, and application engineering. Technical and P&L responsibilities for the product lines HFFS, Secondary Packaging, Band Sealers (VFFS, Robotics) and Modernization Business incl. P&L responsibility for these product lines. This also includes co-responsibilities for OI, TNS, OVC, PPC, business planning and budget management. Maximizes product profitability by meeting the target costs and improving product performance. Assures competitiveness and innovation of products and processes from a technological and design standpoint. Responsible for cost, quality, and on-time delivery of hardware/software releases. Provides technical sales support, visits customers and maintains a strong customer focus within the entire department, responsible for Product Liability also. Applies all relevant corporate and international regulations/norms/standards.

? Drives continuous improvement and measures performances by KPI?s.
? Actively searches for best in class technologies among competitors.
? Cooperates closely with product management to assure market and customer focus and target costing; co-develops innovation roadmaps.
? Establishes, controls and maintains operational budgets for the department.
? Leads and supports projects, incorporates budgets for the department.
? Leads and supports projects, incorporates relevant design expertise and experience; shares technical information and best practices for both, the local site and business unit.
? Proactively collaborates with other sites of the business unit to develop innovative cross technology systems.
? Collaborates closely with supply chain and manufacturing (simultaneous engineering) to ensure design to cost, fabrication and assembly.
? Establishes and grows relationships and collaboration with contract engineering firms.
? Actively participates in the management team of the company.
Travel Expectation: Occasional travel - domestic and international. (5%)
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Packaging Automation Engineering.
+ Minimum of 5 years experience in an engineering managerial role in packaging and processing machinery or capital equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master?s Degree or any other qualification to R&D.
+ Minimum of 5 years' experience in R&D or Engineering project management role.
+ Experience in innovation and/or application engineering.
+ Strong leadership, ownership, accountability and specificity.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Experience in managing people and complexity in a multinational environment.
+ Ability to inspire diversity and inclusion, promote team-work and collaboration amount the different functions.
+ Demonstrated problem analysis and resolution skills at both a strategic and functional level.
+ Analytical rigor and solid process management and way of working.
+ Real market and customer orientation in defining future products and a proven attitude in working strictly in relation with product management.

+ Excellent knowledge of Research and Product Development processes and organization in packaging (or robotics, printing, textile, processing) machinery companies is required.
+ Extensive knowledge of technical applications and manufacturing implication, methods and requirements of packaging machines is recommended.
+ Solid knowledge of most important IT tools for product development is needed.
+ Extensive knowledge of mechanics of materials and material properties.
+ Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
