Applicant will be producing custom, unique interior and exterior doors, and may also assist in producing cabinets if capable, using both reclaimed and new lumber.
Responsibilities and Duties Build interior and exterior doors Use the appropriate machines and tools, including but not limited to, shaper, rip saw, planer, slider saw and sanders Delegate tasks to others Follows direction Has managerial skills Qualifications & Skills Must be a very experienced door maker with prior shop experience (cannot be hobby experience) Capable of building a door from start to finish, including preparing all parts, machining, sizing, and hinging door Plus if candidate has prior experience with 3 point locks Plus if candidate has prior experience of producing cabinets Able to determine the species of both hard and soft wood species Plus if applicant has prior experience working with reclaimed lumber Must be capable of making cut list off plans Able to apply stain, finishes, and paints correctly and efficiently Works well with others Requires little to no training in high-end custom door making Job Type:
