Clean Room Quality Inspector

Summary:
The Clean Room Quality Inspector performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products.
Inspects materials, parts and products throughout all stages of production while on the production floor.
Acts as a liaison between the Quality Lab and the Operations team to communicate product status and acceptability.
Works directly with Operations team conducting spot inspections and provides real time feedback on quality issues, job status and ensure compliance with requirements and GDP.
Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
Supports Isometrics continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:
Conducts in-process and start up inspections on products during manufacturing.
Provides clear and consistent communication on quality of products to the quality Lab, Operations Team, and Project Engineering.
Conducts verification of job documentation for accuracy, GDP, and completeness.
Read blueprints and specifications.
Monitor operations to ensure quality production standards.
Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.
Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, micrometers, visions systems, or other measurement equipment.
Collaborate with production to inspect product real time.
Support Isometrics Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Education and/or
Experience:
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and a min.
of 2 years related experience.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within quality inspection.
Relies on limited experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
